Welcome to the Bracer Guild!

The Bracer Guild is an unaffiliated organization dedicated to keeping the peace and supporting the community. First and foremost, their sworn duty is to protect the people of Aefenglom.

Aid from the Bracer Guild comes in various shapes and sizes. No request is too big or small. Whether it's finding a lost cat, hiring a bodyguard, looking for a tutor... even if it's just stopping to pick up some groceries for you because you're busy planning something big and you need an extra hand. That's what the Guild is here for.

If you have a request to leave with the Guild, the Guild Leader will be happy to take it for you. What is required to complete this process is two things: a description of the work to be done and any specific instructions you have as to how you would like it done as well as the reward you will offer to the Bracer(s) for having it completed. There is a small posting fee that is paid to the Guild directly, but it comes with a guarantee that the work will be done, or your money will be returned to you.

Upon receiving your request, it shall be posted within the Guild on it's bulletin board. Bracers will then be able to go to the Guild and accept the request officially, either solo or in a group, and will act to see it completed in accordance to the instructions left by the client.

When it is completed, the Bracer(s) will report back to the Guild and the Reward will be split amongst those who were responsible for completing the task. The Guild will then follow up with the client to verify that they were satisfied with the work done and file the appropriate paperwork.

! Every month, a catch-all mingle post for the Bracer Guild will be made. At the very top of the post, there will be a top level for IC requests to be posted. There will also be a top level for individuals who may be interested in joining the Bracer Guild, that would like to be tested. Towa will also have a top level for fielding any IC questions applicants or clients may have throughout any of the processes.

Mingling can be done freely within these posts. Clients can meet with Bracers, Bracers can talk amongst each other or take on requests and play them out!

Before anyone can take on requests on behalf of the Guild, they must pass a test and be appointed as an official Bracer. No rewards will be given to anyone who did not complete the training even if they try to complete a task. If your character would like to join the Guild, they only need to mention it to the Guild Leader. They will be tested by Fie Claussell, one of the Guild's own. The Bracer Guild's test is designed to examine their character as well as their strength, as you are expected to represent the Guild and uphold it's beliefs as well as take on requests that could be dangerous in nature. This process can be handwaved if you'd like, but we ask that you contact us so that we can judge how it would have went!

There are perks to being a member naturally. Any request your character completes will have a reward. That may be money but it could also be resources or other goods! Beyond that you will be joining a community that will support you. The Bracer Guild isn't your standard job-- even if it is one you get paid for-- it's a team, and a tightly-knit one at that.

And passing the Bracer test isn't necessarily the end of it! There is also the matter of your Rank as well. Incentives will be given out for those who do well fulfilling requests and going above and beyond to help others out. For each request you take on, you will receive a score and points. Based on the number of points you've accumulated, your Rank can go up. Each time it does, the Guild Leader will have a gift for you. It might be a money bonus or it could be an item. But it's also a representation of your skill, so work hard, do good things, take pride in your work and also get rewarded for your efforts!
