I think you've put us both through more than enough trials already.

[Honestly, her emotions have gone through so much today she's Tired. But even if she's not his first choice-- this kind of ending is even better, right?]

A little blood is no trouble.

What's a few more between friends?

[ He extends a hand to Towa. ]

Dost thou desire the power?

[Well this is familiar he's just going to watch.]

[With a deep breath, she lifts her hand breaking the skin on one of her fingers, allowing the blood to well up a little. Enough to hold it out in offering.

And clearly and calmly--]

I do.

[ He mimics the move, breaking the skin so that a little of his own blood wells up before he takes her hand. ]

Call my name.

[She grips his hand firmly and calls out, loud and clear, in a way that feels familiar to her--]

Crow Armbrust-- the Azure Knight.

[ He smiles at her briefly, and there is a feeling of something shifting. It's not the power that would have come in a different setting, but the attachment is there.

He holds out another hand to Rean. ]

And will you accept a place at her side as Secondary Contractor?

[He's a little... Focused. In a dazed way, on the joined and bleeding hands. But he snaps out of it enough to take Crow's hand, nodding sharply.]

Y-yeah.

[He feels kind of faint. And ravenous.]

[ That's concerning, but he holds on firmly to Rean's hand. There is a feeling, less pronounced than what Towa felt, of a shift as their souls combine as well.

And he doesn't let go of Rean's hand even as he pulls Towa in and give her a brief but intense kiss. ]

[ And before she even has a chance to react, he's pulling away and reeling Rean in for a kiss as well. ]

[The lack of power behind it means nothing to her— that bond alone is worth cherishing.

But she’s surprised to hear Rean falter. She doesn’t have a chance to turn, as she’s pulled into that kiss; surprise quickly melting into a familiar yet intense affection of her own as she returns it.

And watches, perhaps a bit pink in the cheeks as he does the same to Rean.]

[That's distracting, he opens his mouth in surprise to react but, well, all he gets is a mouthful of Crow.]

[ It doesn't last too long, but it's a brief, intense and hungry kiss as he tastes Rean as fully as he can before he pulls away. ]

That should do it.

[ The kissing was entirely unnecessary, actually. He just really wanted to. ]

[After the moment of shock wears off, she turns to look at Rean, eyebrows drawn lightly with concern.]

...is everything okay?

Uh...

[Sorry his brain shut off for a moment after that kiss and the feeling of being connected and now he needs to reboot.]

[ That's cute, Rean is cute. ]

You okay there?

[ His tone is innocent. ]

[It might just be her or the lighting, but his face seems paler than usual.

Biting her lower lip, she reaches up and checks his forehead with the back of her hand; the blood on her finger completely slipping her mind.]

...maybe you should take it easy for a little bit.

[His eyes dilate and he looks dazed, catching her hand before she can do much and bringing her finger to his lips licking the blood off with a shudder, almost in a trance and definitely acting without a shred of thought.]

[ That's hot.

Crow looks at Rean for a long, considering moment. That's definitely unusual behavior, and considering Rean's an audition now and likely has corruptions, it has him wondering.... ]

Hey, Towa? Remind me to replace your teacups later.

[ And then he smashes a teacup against the table and uses a shard to slice a cut onto his neck— it's not deep enough to be deadly, but definitely enough that a thin stream of blood wells up and starts trickling down his neck.. ]

Re--?

[Oh. Towa visibly shudders, face turning bright pink. It's not an unfamiliar feeling but coming from him it's... definitely a more intense one. She relaxes her hand and smiles, letting him finish taking the blood from her finger.

...aaaand there goes her tea cup.]

Honestly... [But it's exasperated fondness.]

[The taste of Towa's blood is incredibly pleasant and it's like water to a man who hasn't had a drop of it in weeks. Which means his lips are closed around the tip of her finger while his tongue licks the pad, eagerly seeking more.

Crow smashing the teacup does startle him enough to come to his senses. Letting go of Towa in shock, face heating, starting to stammer an apology before he even registers what he's done fully.

But Crow's neck has him transfixed before he can even get the words out.]

I'm gonna have to spell this out a little more clearly for you, huh? You're thirsty, right?

[ He's grabbing Rean's hand and dragging him in closer, until Rean's up close, his face just mere centimeters from Crow's neck. ]

So we'll talk after you've taken care of that.

[She knows Rean-- in her heart, she knows..]

...it's okay.

[She's just going to stand by. Crow has this covered probably, but-- she does think he needs to hear it and know that he can count on the both of them.]

You didn't think that you could support us without us doing the same for you, did you? This kind of bond goes both ways you know.

[The words will probably register later and make him have feelings. Right now he's starving and that's a meal. He didn't even know how hungry he was.

It's only his innate inability to harm anyone he cares about that keeps him from sinking fangs into Crow's neck. Because his mind isn't driving the bus right now.

He does grab Crow's shoulder to hold him still as he licks that shallow but very bloody cut.]
