“Now that you’re official, it’s time to show you how things work around here.” Tio guides you downstairs to the Special Support Section’s terminal. It’s the only thing in the room that looks remotely technical and even it is fairly basic. “Fran said you’re pretty good with the orbal network-- so I’m sure this will be a fairly simple explanation.”

It’s turned on by default, so it’s a simple matter of watching Tio make a selection on the screen. A few quick clicks and a new screen of data appears.

“This is our main source of contact with the Crossbell Police Department. What work they have for us gets passed on as requests. Here, we can check what needs to be done as well as any limits or stipulations that need to be followed. And when we’re finished--”

She presses a few buttons and a different screen pops up.

“We can report our results to Fran directly as well. You can submit them one at a time, as you finish them… or wait until they’re all done and submit them all at once. Just make sure you don’t forget.”

You nod your head. “I think I’ve got it. Starting tomorrow morning… leave it to me!”

Tio smiles. “Well. If anything happens, I can offer support.”
