It should be thin and kind of delicate, and if he were using rapunzel it would be, but the nymph plays by different rules: he can just make this ivy thicker, stronger, and much more mobile as it spills rapidly down over the stone.
[Having that kind of gaze directed at her just makes her want to see how much more she can turn up the heat. Feeling emboldened by his reactions so far, she decides to… open up a bit and give him what he asked for. Her own eyes burn with the same heat when he looks up at him.]

So she thought if she could figure out what he’d like, she could at least try to make it good for him. Who would have guessed her actions could backfire on her in such a way? The siren card only amplified her own insecurities, so the idea that he might be interested in her specifically continues to throw her off.
